At the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Vernig gave this virtual presentation to a large group of behavioral health professionals at the International Employee Assistance Professionals Association. He discussed how the mental health field had responded to, and been impacted by, prior pandemics, including H1N1, the Spanish Flu, and the Second Cholera Pandemic. Dr. Vernig also discussed mental health in the post-pandemic world and coping/wellness for healthcare workers at this difficult time.
